12 yrs of schooling is not enough to get directly admitted in the German University, Students have to attend one year foundation course in Germany called ‘Studienkolleg’ which is equivalent to 13 yrs of schooling. If students have 3 years qualification after SLC, can process directly to Bachelor if other requirements are met. You can directly get admission to Master level with IELTS score not less than 6.5 if If you have passed 4 years Bachelor (CGPA not Less than 3), or Equivalent.

The Studienkolleg provides foreign applicants, whose educational qualification do not permit direct entry to the German University or Fachhochschule, with the subject specific and linguistic basic.

The subjects taught at studienkolleg are:

  • T-Kurs: preparation for technical and engineering degree courses
  • W-kurs: preparation for Business and Management degree courses
  • SW-Kurs: preparation for Social science course
  • GD-Kurs: preparation for Art and Design degree courses
  • M-Kurs: preparation for Medicine and Biology based
  • S-Kurs: preparation for language based courses

We recommended to join Gothe Zentrum (GZK). They have the most qualified and reliable German teachers in Nepal. Their certificate is recognized all over the world and they provide a far superior language skills than what the other language institute do. Preparing German language from private language institute also need to attend exam at Gothe Zentrum, Kathmandu.
